Cleaning your ears at home – the right instruments
Please note that the following article does not constitute medical advice. You should in any case contact your ENT doctor first in order to avoid injuring the ear canal.

Stainless steel ear cleaners
Gentler than cotton buds – they do not push anything further in:
- Spoon instrument for earwax – the classic, with a rounded edge
- Extra-narrow ear cleaner – for narrow ear canals
- Ear cleaner with different loops – two sizes in one instrument
Loop instrument
The loop instrument is ideal for cleaning along the auricle. Thanks to the small loop you can remove fine deposits as well as dirt that sits deeper inside.
Thanks to the robust rustproof stainless steel you can also apply pressure without damaging the instrument.

Double probe
With the double probe you can remove deposits at the entrance to the ear canal. The two probes of different sizes are suitable for small as well as large deposits. The „greasy“ earwax sticks to the probes very well.
Used carefully, the double probe should not cause any injuries, as the probes are blunted at their ends.
