The DOVO XL strop aligns the fine burr of your straight razor's edge before every shave, ensuring a smooth, close shave. As a hanging strop , it is stretched taut; then, with the razor lying flat on its spine and edge, you guide it along the leather towards the spine . The XL strop offers an extra-large working surface and can be rolled up compactly after use.

Application:

  1. Attach the strap to a hook or similar and tighten it securely .
  2. Place the knife flat with the back and edge facing down.
  3. Pull away from the body towards the back; at the end turn over over the back, never over the edge.
  4. Before each shave, take several calm strokes per side (e.g. 15–30).

Care instructions: Store leather in a dry, flat place; protect from moisture. If necessary, treat sparingly with leather conditioner.
